There’s just something beautiful about March in Palm Beach County…. The palm trees perfectly lining the streets, the pops of pink and yellow in the trees, the ocean waves acting as the perfect soundtrack to date night or family night conversation.

And with the cooler weather in sight for this weekend, you just may want a little daycay’ing me-time, this list of restaurants with the most beautiful views has you covered. From lakeside and oceanfront to garden patio and rooftop, when you need the perfect view to complement a tasty brunch, lunch, dinner, happy hour or nightcap, the choices are quite endless in The Palm Beaches

SQUARE GROUPER

Square Grouper in Jupiter. (Palm Beach Post file photo)

This is the kind of beach bar (that it's on the Jupiter Inlet instead of the beach is a quibble) you hope to find and rarely do. The kind where you can wiggle your toes in the sand while ordering a beer and a burger, then gaze out over moonlit water.

1000 NORTH

This upscale restaurant that is part-owned by Michael Jordan is set to transform the Jupiter Inlet. It may lean into the steakhouse profile, but the focus here is on a wider menu, the wine, the coastal-chic vibe, the setting and the fine cigars. With a private lounge and terrace perched at the top of the building and spacious dining and drinking areas sprawled across the main level, the restaurant checks many of the Inlet’s must-have boxes: outdoor bar, fire pits, Jupiter Lighthouse views, varied menus, boat access, accessible parking.

GUANABANAS

Guanabanas is possibly the prettiest place to eat and drink outdoors in all of Palm Beach County, in a lagoon off the south bank of the Loxahatchee River. Let the cocktails or wine or beer or a blend of all three flow through the live band’s full set and not stop until the stars align.

The newest Nashville-based Bricktop’s chain is located on Palm Beach Garden’s prime waterway stretch across the shimmering Intracoastal from Seasons 52. The remodeled property, formerly occupied by River House, features a waterside tiki bar. With a menu of American classics and a small selection of sushi rolls, the upscale spot offers plenty of views and outdoor seating.

3800 OCEAN

The window-side tables at this Singer Island eatery offer some of north county’s most splendid daylight views, but your main course here is even better. The food is beautifully fresh and exquisitely presented. One of the county’s true gems. For a more casual dining experience, belly up to the 3800 bar or settle into one of the bar tables. The pub grub is excellent.

RH ROOFTOP RESTAURANT

To dine on the rooftop of the new, four-story Restoration Hardware “mansion” on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach is to peer at the city through its grand, sparkly crown.

The rooftop cafe offers a small but discerning menu with choices generous cheese boards, breakfast selections and hearty sandwiches.

The core of the indoor/outdoor space may be a furniture store, but its crown is a place for dining and daydreaming.

HULLABALOO

At Hullabaloo, with its speakeasy feel, its indoor and outdoor dining options, its spare walls hung with moody black-and-white photographs (rock on, Sid Vicious), the wait seems almost effortless. And if the well-curated beer and wine lists along with the starter menu don’t entice you, the back patio -- complete with Airstream Bus to reserve -- will. This sweet spot on the west side of Clematis is a picturesque respite from West Palm Beach’s bustling downtown.

THE SEAFOOD BAR AT THE BREAKERS

Tucked into the back of Palm Beach’s most iconic resort, The Seafood Bar has always offered glorious ocean views and good food. Now, after an extensive makeover, it offers stellar interior views as well. The setting is yacht glam, a space decked out in shiny, warm woods and punctuated by a stunning, clear bar that doubles as an aquarium. As one might expect, the menu is seafood-centric, but also includes a proper burger. Walk-ins welcome.

RENATO’S

This upscale Italian restaurant in Palm Beach offers diners romantic courtyard seating with an elegant, old-world feel. Seated outside at Renato’s one feels instantly transported to a quaint bistro in Rome. It’s worth mentioning that Renato’s made OpenTable’s list of “Best Outdoor Dining in America” in 2017.

BENNY’S ON THE BEACH

This beachy restaurant does breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner with a helping of calming ocean views. The executive chef, Jeremy Hanlon, is terrific, a local star who has appeared on Food Network cooking competition shows. His kitchen offerings include a full Spanish-style paella and pinxtos menu, a seafood bake menu and a proprietary “beach bread” (think waffled toast with savory and sweet fillings) menu.

SOUTH: Lantana, Manalapan, Delray

DUNE DECK CAFE

Lantana’s beach has suffered from erosion more than many beaches in the county, and at high tide, the strip of sand is particularly narrow. But that doesn’t detract from the views (and sounds) to be enjoyed while dining and drinking al fresco at Dune Deck Café, located high above the waterline. Keep in mind: Dune Deck is cash only, although an ATM is parked out front. You’ll also pay $1.50 per hour to park but again, worth it.

BREEZE KITCHEN AT EAU RESORT

You are closer to the ocean waves here than you are to the island traffic out front. And it’s a glorious view beneath Breeze’s bright yellow-striped umbrellas: the sea, the beautiful sea. Grab a cocktail and maybe a light bite and the plan to linger in paradise.

LATITUDES AT DELRAY SANDS RESORT

Voted ‘Best Resort Restaurant’ in 2016 by Palm Beach Post Food Editor, Latitudes serves some of the best coastal cuisine in the county. Brunch offerings include a fresh seafood bar with seared Yellowfin tuna, smoked salmon, a carving station and lots more.

Open daily from 7 to 11 a.m.; Sunday brunch is 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DADA

Few places embody downtown Delray’s funk factor more colorfully than Dada, which operates in a 1924-era house. Anchored by a glorious banyan tree, the tropical front yard of the house offers open-air tables. Sip on a Barbancourt rum, nibble on any of the globally-inspired bites and soak up the Swinton Ave ambiance.

SUNDY HOUSE

The Sundy House on Swinton Avenue

At Sundy House, diners can enjoy their meal in a lush garden setting that’s punctuated by a wooden veranda, gazebo, statues, pathways and ponds. The place transports you to a gracefully overgrown Old Florida. Thanks to all the above, Sundy House is popular for brunch, holiday feasts and special events. It takes one trip there to understand why it made OpenTable’s 2016 list of “Best Al fresco Dining Restaurants in America.”

CHE RESTAURANT

(Liz Balmaseda/The Palm Beach Post)

The setting of this restaurant, which inhabits the former Hudson at the Waterway East property on the Intracoastal in Delray, is outstanding. What a lucky thing for local lovers of Argentinean and Spanish foods: a place where the empanada comes with one of the best views in South Florida.
